- Assess the Space: Evaluate the existing bathroom layout to determine the feasibility of converting the tub into a shower. Take into account factors like available space, plumbing requirements, and structural considerations. Additionally, decide on the desired tile patterns and decorative walls, as well as the preferred drain location.
- Plan the Design: Decide on the shower layout and design that best suits your needs and preferences. Consider elements such as the shower size, type of shower enclosure, fixtures, and any additional features like seating or storage.
- Demolition: Remove the existing tub, (Cast Iron Tubs Require an Additional Fee of $189.95) surrounding tile, and any other components that are not needed for the shower conversion. - Shower Base Installation: Install the shower base or pan, ensuring it is level and securely fastened. The base serves as the foundation for the shower and helps direct water towards the drain.
- Wall Surround Installation: Install the shower wall surround, which can be made of tiles, panels, or other suitable materials. Ensure proper waterproofing and sealing between the wall surround and the shower base.
- Plumbing Fixture Installation: Install the shower fixtures, including the showerhead, controls, and any additional features like handheld showerheads or body jets. Connect the plumbing lines securely and test for proper functioning.

- Final Inspection: Test the new shower to ensure that it’s working properly. Check for any leaks, drips, or water flow issues. Make any necessary adjustments or repairs before the project is considered complete.
